Ben Savill is CEO, Pacific Region at Guy Carpenter. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s treaty and facultative activities with a focus on further developing its growth strategy and strengthening its capabilities. Ben was most recently CUO for Convex Re, Bermuda which brought to close an 18-year tenure on island that included executive roles with Fidelis Insurance, Bermuda and Amlin Bermuda.
Bermuda is often seen as the launchpad for ILS vehicles and cat bond issuance. Ben has been involved in the structuring and purchase of ILS products, recognizing investor appetite and matching that to tranches of risk.
